Carole is survived by her son Joshua Davis, and her loving husband of 26 years Thomas Resnick. She is also survived by Yetta, Pauly, Ann, Geri, Mera, Beverley, and Mark – just some of the aunts, cousins and nephews on her side of the family. Carole is also survived by her sister-in-law Judy, nieces Kim, Alissa, nephew David, and several grand-nieces and nephews on Tom’s side of the family, with whom she was also close.
Carole was born and raised in Winnipeg. She also lived Los Angeles and Minneapolis, making life long friends in each city, all of whom will also miss her. Carole suffered many health issues in her life and succumbed finally to neuroendocrine cancer. The funeral and internment took place at the United Hebrew Brotherhood Cemetery in Richfield MN. A cousin of Carole’s, Rabbi Rokie Bernstein officiated. Carole was predeceased by her beloved parents, Charlie and Billie Bender, and older sister Joyce. Carole loved to learn and was a voracious reader. Donations to Carole’s memory may be made to your local library, or to the cancer society, specifically for research into neuroendocrine cancer.
