On December 13, 2014, peacefully at age 95 at the Simkin Centre.
Born in Winnipeg, he was predeceased by his parents (Ruvin and Gitl), his brother (Sam), his beloved wife of nearly 67 years (Dorothy), a daughter (Marian) and a grandson (Daniel). He leaves four sons (Martin, Ben, Matthew and Richard), 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Dave had a long career as a dentist, including many happy years working at Mount Carmel Clinic. He was a kind and gentle man who cared deeply about a fair and just world for all. But his life was really focused on his family and close friends, who will always carry warm and happy memories of his love for them.
Burial took place on December 16 at Hebrew Sick Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at The Simkin Centre, and to Veronica Villaluz and her team for the excellent care for Dave and Dorothy over their last years. Friends may wish to contribute in his memory to Mount Carmel Clinic.
