It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of Bryan Leslie Natch in the city of Winnipeg on December 19, 2021 after a very brief illness.
Bryan was born to the late Eva and Max Natch on May 29, 1948. He was a unique individual. Bryan loved his friendships growing up, being in the B’nai Brith Baseball League, participating in a bowling league, playing Hearts with the guys, as well as enjoying many sporting events with friends.
Bryan loved traveling, especially getting away from the deep cold for a few weeks a year. He had a love for all animals, including his rabbit, his guinea pig, his dog Baby, and, in the past years, his budgies, just to name a few.
Bryan graduated high school in Minneapolis and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Minnesota. He returned to the city of Winnipeg where he owned his own laundromat for a few years, then worked alongside his father and father’s partner, helping to manage Winnipeg Construction Co, Wyatt Rentals Ltd., as well as a few other businesses. Managing Chateau West Apartments became his baby for many years until his retirement.
Bryan leaves to mourn his Aunt Bess Ploskar, his nephews Steven (Cherryl) and David (Hava), as well as his dearest friend Sharon Zynoberg (and her family). His primary caregiver/friend Alysha Fox will miss him deeply.
Bryan’s funeral took place graveside at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery with pallbearers being: Allysha Fox, Ted Kasloff, Steven Salita, David Salita, Marc Zynoberg, and David Zynoberg.
In his honour donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Cancercare Manitoba, Winnipeg Humane Society, or any charity of your choice.
