With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Lila Goldin on Saturday, August 4, 2018.
Her husband Cecil, parents Ray and Charlie Davidow, and brother and sister-in-law Harold and Corkey Davidow predeceased her. Lila was born in Winnipeg on November 19, 1923 and went to St. John’s Tech high school. She was a member of National Council and later became an honourary member of the Gwen Sector. After moving to Vancouver, Lila joined the Henrietta Szold chapter of Hadassah and remained an active member all her life.
Left to mourn are her son Allan (Julie) in Australia and his children Andy (Amanda) in Singapore and Jono (Jenina) in London; her son Neal (Jenifer) and his children Rebekah (Ryan) and Isobella in Vancouver; her daughter Sheryl in Vancouver; and her sister Doreen Davidow in Winnipeg.
Lila was laid to rest beside Cecil at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Vancouver on August 6, 2018.
